Firstly, thank you to all who responded to our previous survey expressing your level of interest in getting back to netball activity. It's great to see that many young players do want to restart training with Grangers, and we have finally managed to find a court for training to restart on!
While we are not currently permitted to hold any netball sessions, when organised group sport is allowed in line with government and England Netball guidelines, all Grangers training sessions will be held outside. We feel this will help provide the safest possible environment for all involved in Grangers, while still allowing the players to train, improve, and have fun.
We are hoping to start training for all youth and junior age groups as soon as allowed at our venue in Oakley village. This is a single court space, allowing us to limit numbers at each session in line with out risk assessments. With evenings becoming colder and darker, training will be moving to a weekend to allow players to see the ball and feel their fingers!
If, after reading the guidance provided, you are wanting to partake in training, please let us know your availability via our form through the button below. We request that the form is completed by a responsible adult for the player, and said adult's contact email is provided as the players involved are under 18.
While the date of restarting Grangers is unknown, we are working hard behind the scenes to get a plan in place for when that date comes!
